Sometime in the wintry months of early 2015, family and friends were enjoying a gravy-laden, “nutritious” breakfast meal at Chuck's Tap in Davenport, IA…daydreaming and talking about riding a bicycle across width of the Hawkeye state.  

That idea was dismissed as delusional and the conversation quickly evolved into a planning session to enjoy a day together; to laugh, eat, drink and ride a bicycle, all without breaking a sweat!  Hence, the Bedford Annual Great Bike Ride Across Davenport "BAGBRAD" was born.
